4+3 Project of Cooperation with Institutions of Fashion
Design in Paris
In the year 2003, a bilateral contract was signed in
our school between Jiangsu Provincial Education Department
and International Cooperation Department of National Education
Ministry of France, which has initiated the 4+3 project cooperation,
namely, the cooperation between 4 institutions in Jiangsu
Province of China and 3 institutions in Paris. The former
include Nanjing Art Institute, Soochow University, Jiang-Nan
University, Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute,
and the latter include Les Ecoles Superieures des Arts Appliques
Olivier de Serre, Boulle et Duperre.
Under the frame of the general contract, all the participating
schools have joined together in running an itinerating exhibition
of interior designs of the students, so that the students
had the chances to display their works in these schools, which
is beneficial for learning between themselves.
Since the beginning of the cooperation, our school has received
4 students from the three schools of France, and the work
of selecting students from our school to study in France has
also started.
