I. Application:
1. Applicants should ask for the “foreign student’s application form of Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute” from the foreign students’ office or download it from the Internet.
2. Applicants should fill in the complete application form as well as send the visa duplicate and other relative application materials to the Foreign Communication and Cooperation Department of Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute. The deadline of the application is the end of August.
3. The Foreign Communication and Cooperation Department will be in charge of examining and verifying the quality of application and seal on the application form.

II. Examination and admission
The Foreign Communication and Cooperation Department send the application form to the Dean’s Office and the Dean’s Office examines and verities the quality of admission. Then the Dean’s Office signs the admission notice and seal to confirm it.

III. Visa
1. The Foreign Communication and Cooperation Department is in charge of signing the foreign students’ visa application, admission notice and notify the relative colleges.
2. Students take the visa application form and admission notice to Chinese Embassies or consulates in foreign countries to apply for the study visa. (X Visa)
3. If students have some special reasons, they can apply for travel visas to enter and then it is up to the institute to handle the visa alternation procedures.

Registering
1. According to the date on the admission notice, students should take the Foreign Students’ Visa Application Form (JW202 Form) and the admission notice to check in, register, and pay the tuition. Those who can’t register before the deadline for special reasons should contact the institute ahead and delay to register if approved.
2. The Foreign Communication and Cooperation Department will arrange the physical examination for the students and give students safety education in Suzhou. It will also handle the students’ residence permits in China.
