¡¡¡¡Dated back to the material room of Suzhou Art School founded by famed oil painter and art educator, Mr. Yan Wenliang, the library of Suzhou Art and Design Technology Institute, with a long history, magnificent buildings and elegant surroundings, has a large volume of books. Covering an area of 11277 square meters, the new library located in the Stone Lake Campus, embodied top quality of culture and science. In light of the principles of ¡°serving readers, convenient management and efficient service¡±, the newly-built library not only has spacious room but has convenient facilities as well. It can serve various purposes such as referring, consulting, reading, borrowing, searching, training, scanning and CD recording, and so on. Total volume of the library has reached as many as 31,0000, and 20,000 of them are original foreign books, 170,000 e-books. We have established exchange relationship with over 50 libraries and academic institutions home and abroad. With a special platform for web reference service, the library is linked with CERNET( China Education and Research Net) and internet.
