Students' Art Center

¡¡Suzhou Art & Design Technology Institute students¡¯ Art Association founded on February, 2002 . It implements art education for all-around development to all students, and selects students, who has the talent and the special skill ,to join the university student art group.
Events:
1.Participated in the 2003 ¡°Fuzhong¡± Jiangsu Province University Students Art Contest
2. Participated in Suzhou New Year's Choral Festival 2003
3. Participated in the ¡° Songs of Youth¡± Jiangsu Province University Singer Competition 2004.

The Art Association is made up of the following 4 teams:
1. Chorus Team:
performance form: Mixed chorus, Male and female sound semi chorus, part singing and solo.
Aim: Master the performance method of singing and the basic theory of music
2. Dance Team:
Types: National folk dance, modern dance, contemporary dance and so on
Aim: understand the main point of every dance type; strengthen the student to understand the works, sharpen student's stage performance ability; learn to self-written and directed
3. Acrobatics team
Type: Poetry reading, lecture management, modern drama sketch and so on
Aim: Through the language basic skills training, strengthens the student to master the language control grasping ability. Learn to create and perform the musical and the modern drama which reflect the university life
4. Aerobics, Latin Dance Team
Type : aerobics and Latin dance (Samba, Rumba, cowboy and so on)
Aim: master the different characterizes while dancing. raise the collective consciousness
